Nataliya Tihipko Collection
The private collection of patron and collector Nataliya Tihipko is one of the best-known collections of Petrykivka painting, illustrating the evolution of the style from its classical origins to modern interpretations. At the time the catalog was published, the collection numbered around 230 works, mostly painting on wooden items and paper drawings.
In 2012, a large illustrated album-catalog “Petrykivka Decorative Painting” was published (ADEF-Ukraine publishing house, around 280 pages, over 200 color reproductions). The scholarly editing and introductory article were prepared by art historian Lyudmyla Tverska. Items from the collection regularly take part in cultural projects — including the “Petrykivka Rushnyk” exhibition, where authentic paintings were shown alongside works by contemporary artists Halyna Nazarenko and Tamara Vakulenko.
